Terms of Service

Last updated: May 9, 2026

By using The Starkind, you agree to these terms. The site is operated by NeuralChain Hub FZC LLC (the "company"), a free-zone company registered at Ajman NuVentures Centre Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. The site is provided for educational purposes only.

What you can do

You're welcome to read, share, link to, and quote our articles as long as you credit us and link back. You can teach from them, quote them in school projects, and reference them in your own writing.

What you can't do

  • Republish our articles in full without permission.
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract content from the site by automated means at a rate that burdens our servers, use site content to train machine-learning or generative AI models, or build a product that mirrors our content.
  • Use our name, logo, or branding in a way that suggests endorsement we haven't given.
  • Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site.

Accuracy

We work hard to get the science right. Astronomical data in our tools (moon phases, planet positions, sun times) is calculated from well-established open-source libraries. Where we write about history or cultural traditions, we cite our sources where possible.

That said, we're a small team and we're human. If you find an error, please tell us. We fix things quickly when we're wrong.

We make no warranty that the data on this site is fit for any particular purpose beyond general educational reading. Confirm anything you'll act on against primary sources.

Not professional advice

The Starkind is educational. We are not astronomers-for-hire, and nothing on this site should be taken as professional astronomical, navigational, or scientific consultation for any commercial, legal, or safety-critical purpose.

What we don't offer

The Starkind is an astronomy platform. We do not provide astrological readings, horoscopes, birth charts, fortune-telling, or any form of spiritual or predictive guidance. References to the historical zodiac in our articles describe the band of sky in which planets move, not astrology.

Third-party content

We occasionally link to other sites we find helpful — NASA, observatories, academic resources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content.

Ads

We show ads through Google AdSense. Ad content is chosen by Google based on its own algorithms, not by us. An advertised product appearing on our site is not an endorsement.

Liability

The site is provided "as is". We're not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Use good judgment — if you're planning anything safety-critical (eclipse viewing, telescope purchases beyond your budget, a trip to a remote dark-sky site), confirm with primary sources.

We are specifically not liable for travel, financial, or scheduling decisions made on the basis of data from our tools — Tonight's Sky, the moon phase tool, or any future weather, satellite, or observing-condition feature. Astronomical models are calculated from well-maintained open libraries, but conditions on the ground (clouds, light pollution, road access, local weather) are not something we predict. Always cross-check before committing time or money based on what you read here.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where applicable, the regulations of the Ajman Free Zone authority where NCH FZC LLC is registered. Any disputes arising from your use of the site that cannot be resolved through correspondence should be sent to contact@neuralchainhub.com in the first instance.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll update the "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
